This workshop helps you to understand biblical forgiveness and gives you practical tools to process forgiveness so that you can find freedom from bitterness or resentment that stands in the way of good, healthy relationships.

The military lifestyle can be adventurous and fun, but also really challenging at times. This workshop will focus on how to thrive and not merely survive while the service member is deployed. Ensuring healthy communication, staying connected in spite of the distance, and ways to improve the reintegration period upon return will be discussed.

What do we do now that it is JUST US? When the busyness of raising kids ends, many couples find themselves living with a virtual stranger. Who is this person that I fell in love with all those years ago? Do we have anything in common? In this workshop couples will learn how to discover their partner again and find out how to make this next chapter the best yet. Fall back in love with the person you’ve been coparenting with for all these years.

Tell us how you really feel! It’s time to stop criticizing, blaming and dismissing your spouse and start getting your needs met. And yes, your spouse read that, too! In this workshop, you will learn how to communicate more authentically and get the love and true intimacy that God has in mind for your marriage.

Many couples have difficulty navigating their partners’ expectations of household roles and responsibilities from the beginning of marriage. This workshop will explore the intricacy of God’s plan for both males and females within the home, while honoring the different dynamics each couple brings into marriage and home life. Couples in this workshop will learn how communicate effectively and regularly about responsibilities within the home, challenges to that daily progress, and applying one another’s God given strengths to benefit the family overall.

Did you hear that? Me neither. My spouse and I haven’t talked in two days. The silence is deafening. We want to be more connected but we don’t know how to resolve conflict and make repairs after an argument. Over the years, the small hurts have snowballed into a lot of resentment and distance between us. Sound familiar? In this workshop, you will walk away with new ways to resolve conflict so that you can both win!

In this workshop you will learn how to re-couple and blend your families in a way that honors the God’s loving purposes for every family. Through the redefinition of family identity and roles, conversations over healthy boundaries, and experiencing life through a child’s eyes you too may start to recognize how a blended family can be an amazing opportunity to see the redemptive work of God within your new family.

Trust can be broken in a marriage in many ways and is often difficult to rebuild. Trust is different from forgiveness in that forgiveness is given freely but trust must be earned. This workshop will help couples to understand the characteristics of trust and how to rebuild trust when it has been broken.

Did you know that God had pleasure in mind when he designed our bodies? It’s true! But often our minds get in the way. In this workshop you will learn how to talk to your spouse about uncomfortable topics, assess your own needs and desires, get out of your head and start to experience the true intimacy that God designed for your marriage.

Many couples think connection in marriage happens naturally and when their marriage is rife with disconnection, they often lose heart. In this talk, couples will be taught how to reconnect despite conflict and different communication styles. Couples will learn how to be responsible and respectful in their communication, how to self-disclose authentically, and why disconnection seems to be our default.

We all want our faith to be passed down to our children and our children’s children. This workshop focuses on ways to use your marriage to build a legacy that lasts through the generations.
