Meichell Worthing, LPC is a Licensed Professional Counselor in Virginia, a board certified Virginia Supervisor and the owner, CEO of Lighthouse Counseling and Psychotherapy LLC. Meichell Worthing started Lighthouse Counseling in 2008 wanting to partner with the Trinity (Father, Son/Jesus, and the Holy Spirit) to bind up the broken-hearted (Isaiah 61). She began expanding Lighthouse by taking on additional clinical staff in October of 2018. She has held her license in good standing since October 2007 and has been a clinical supervisor since 2014. Beth Hunter, LPC, is a therapist who enjoys working with individual adults and couples. Her therapeutic style is direct, collaborative, and structured and she strives to help clients to be restored in their relationships with themselves, God, and others. Clients working with Beth can expect compassion and understanding while working towards their goals for healing.
Beth primarily works with adults and couples. Her clinical approach includes CBT, EMDR, Internal Family Systems, Attachment Theory, and Gottman Method for couples. Her areas of specialty include complex trauma, personality disorders, dissociation, and marital issues, including affair recovery.
Beth has completed training and/or certification in EMDR, Internal Family Systems, Certified Complex Trauma Therapist Level 1 and 2, Attachment-Focused Trauma Therapy for Adults, and Gottman Level 1. Beth is also an Approved Supervisor, helping train residents on their journey towards licensure. Beth has been practicing for many years with over 20 years of clinical experience. She holds a Masters in Counseling from Regent University.
Outside of work, Beth enjoys playing pickle ball, hikes in the mountains, and activities in or on the water.
Lacy Biddle, MSW, LCSW

Lacy Biddle, LCSW, is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who enjoys working with individuals 30-years-old and up. Her therapeutic style is a mixture of person-centered, warm, honest, and collaborative, and she strives to help clients heal and reach their personal goals. Clients working with Lacy can expect to feel they are in a safe space and attended to.
She primarily works with females, males, retirees, military active duty and military dependents. Her clinical approach includes Certified Complex Trauma Therapist Levels I and II, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Attachment Focused Trauma Therapy for Adults (AFFTA), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy, (DBT), and Eye Movement Integration (EMI), and her areas of specialty include trauma, complex trauma, anxiety, and depression.
Lacy has completed training and/or certification in IFS, AFTTA, Complex Trauma EMDR, EMI, CBT, and DBT. She has been practicing since 2009. Lacy holds a Bachelor of Science from Old Dominion University and a Master of Social Work from Norfolk State University.
Outside of work, Lacy enjoys travel, baking, cooking, pilates and spending time with her family.
Emileigh Allen, MA, LPC

Emileigh Allen, LPC, is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor who enjoys working with individuals ages 5 and up. Her therapeutic style is calm, compassionate, and goal oriented. She strives to help clients become more regulated, healed, and fulfilled. Clients working with Emileigh can expect humor, a safe space, and practical use of tools and resources.
She primarily works with females, teens, and children. Her clinical approach includes Eye Movement Integration (EMI), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Person Centered Therapy. Her areas of specialty include trauma, anxiety, and depression. Emileigh has completed training and/or certification in EMI, DBT, and IFS. She has been practicing since 2020. She holds a Bachelors in Psychology and a Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling both from Regent University.

Megan Fischetti, LCSW, is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who enjoys working with adults,ages 18-years-old and up. Her therapeutic style is warm, person-centered, and collaborative, and she strives to help clients heal, grow, and reconnect with the most authentic version of themselves. Clients working with Megan can expect to be met exactly where they are each session, supported in a non-judgmental yet honest way, and engaged in a collaborative therapeutic process that fosters an emotionally safe space.
She works primarily with females, males, and individuals battling with trauma and maternal mental health. Her clinical approach includes Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Internal Family Systems (IFS),and her areas of specialty include trauma, maternal mental health, depression and anxiety.
Megan has completed training and/or certification in EMDR, Attachment Focused Trauma Therapy for Adults (AFTT-A), Applied Suicide Skills and Intervention Training (ASIST), and Maternal Mental Health]. She has beenpracticing since 2021 and in the mental health field since 2016. They hold a Master of Science Degree from Longwood University and a Master of Social Work Degree from The University of Alabama.

Margo Litzenberg, MS, LPC, NCC

Margo Litzenberg, LPC, NCC, is a Licensed therapist who enjoys working with adolescents, adults, and families. Their therapeutic style is warm, collaborative, and grounded, and they strive to help clients feel understood, build insight, and develop practical tools for meaningful change. Clients working with Margo can expect sessions that feel supportive, intentional, and gently challenging, with space for both reflection and growth.
Margo primarily works with adolescents, adults, and families navigating life transitions, drawing on her background as a former school counselor to support emotional regulation, peer relationships and family communication. Her clinical approach includes cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), trauma-informed care, and strengths-based interventions, and their areas of specialty include anxiety, depression, school-related stress, life transitions, and relationship challenges.
Margo has completed training and/or certification in Eye Movement Integration (EMI), play therapy, trauma-informed practice, crisis intervention, mindfulness, and evidence-based therapeutic modalities. She has been practicing since 2023 as an LPC and practiced as a school counselor for five years prior to entering private practice. Margo holds a B.A. in English from The Ohio State University, and an M.S in School Counseling and Education from Liberty University
Outside of work, Margo enjoys spending time outdoors and engaging in creative or restorative activities with her husband, a retired Navy veteran, and her adult children.

Karen “KC” Carroll, MA, CNM (ret.), LPC

Karen is a Licensed Professional Counselor and retired Certified Nurse-Midwife with a unique background in both physical and mental health care. After 17 years supporting individuals and families as a nurse-midwife, she transitioned to counseling, having witnessed the profound effects of unaddressed trauma and the vital mind-body connection on well-being. Karen’s clinical approach is shaped by her keen ability to recognize emotional distress-even when words are hard to find-drawing from years of observing non-verbal cues in healthcare settings. She holds a Master of Science in Midwifery from Philadelphia University and a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Regent University. Nationally certified and a member of the American Association of Christian Counselors, Karen’s practice is grounded in a strengths-based philosophy. She draws from evidence-based therapies-including CBT, ACT, DBT, SFBT, IFS, and EMDR-while integrating faith-based principles to support each client’s unique journey. Brad Taylor, MS, LPC, LSATP

Brad completed his graduate studies at Grand Canyon University where he earned a Master of Science Degree in Professional Counseling. He has over 25 years of counseling experience working with individuals, groups, and families. Brad specializes in working substance use disorders/addiction, anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship problems, domestic violence, anger management, in addition to other mental health disorders. He uses an eclectic approach to counseling that is based primarily on his client’s unique and/or individual challenges. His eclectic approach will include the use of cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, solution-focused therapy, interpersonal therapy, spirituality, and trauma informed interventions.
Leeanna Hauert MA, LPC

Leeanna is a trauma specialist and has worked in the field over 15 years. As an LPC, Leeanna works to provide each client with an approach that best addresses their individual needs. She works with depression, anxiety, OCD, PTSD, grief and loss, life transitions, traumatic brain injury, sexual abuse, military/first responder culture. Caroline (Carly) Park, LCSW, is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who enjoys working with individuals of (almost) any age and life stage. She sees clients exclusively via telehealth. Her therapeutic style is one of compassion, warmth, and collaboration, as she works with clients to facilitate healing and personal growth.
Carly primarily works with adults, teens, and pre-teens. Kristin Stock is a Licensed Resident in Counseling. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. She is a former School Counselor and educator. She currently works with adults and couples who are working through family of origin issues, marriage conflict, anxiety, depression, trauma, communication skills, work/life balance and burnout. She believes that healing is possible with the help of a good Counselor and God’s grace.
Natalie Latham, MA, LRIC

Natalie is currently a Licensed Resident in Counseling at Lighthouse and a master’s student at Regent University, completing her final semester of a program concentrating in Marriage and Family Therapy. Her work as an educator has led her to believe that the connections formed in a learning context are instrumental to an individual’s personal and relational growth. Moreover, she is passionate about using creative experiences for therapeutic expression and exploring topics of faith with her clients.

Molly Herman is a native to Virginia Beach with a master’s degree in clinical Mental Health Counseling from Liberty University. She is currently a resident under supervision with a prior background working with addictions and sexual trauma. Her approach to counseling is based in reality therapy with a person-centered focus which attempts to promote emotional, mental, physical, and spiritual wellness. Molly is an empathetic listener with a heart for restoration and a passion to walk with the hurting and lonely.
Mackenzie Black, MA, LRIC

Mackenzie is a Licensed Resident in Counseling (LRIC) with extensive experience supporting individuals and families navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, reconciliation, relational challenges, and life transitions. She has a particular passion for helping individuals heal from trauma using Eye Movement Integration (EMI), a technique designed to process and resolve wounds. Committed to a strengths-based approach, Mackenzie empowers individuals and families to build on their inherent resilience and work toward their goals. Christina has been married for 30 years and has three adult children and three grandchildren. Now in her third act, and called by scripture, Titus 2, where the older women are urged to teach and encourage the younger. Christina serves women, couples, and families. She works with children 12+ on a case-by-case basis. Her therapeutic style is exploratory, individualized, and future-focused. Her clinical experience includes anxiety, depression, adjustment disorders, trauma, PTSD, OCD, ASD, and ADHD. Her personal experience extends to life and career transitions, empty-nest, childhood trauma, sexual issues, family military issues, blended and foster families, illness, and grief/loss/death. Katrina is a Licensed Resident in Counseling (LRIC) under supervision. She has earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Old Dominion University in 2019 and a Master of Education in School Counseling from The College of William and Mary in 2024. She also has four adult children and one grandchild. Counseling is Katrina’s second career after driving a school bus for close to 30 years. Traumatic times in life at any age can be overwhelming, depressing, anxiety-inducing, and confusing. Working with parents and children, individually or as a family, to help them navigate those times is important to Katrina. She believes that emotional and spiritual healing is possible by the grace of God and is committed to coming alongside her clients to help them on their journey to restoration. Katrina is trained in decreasing negative self-talk and increasing self-esteem, conflict resolution, improving communication skills, and developing psychological flexibility and a growth mindset. The modalities Katrina uses are person-centered with elements of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), including Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT) and Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT). She also incorporates Solution-Focused Therapy and Attachment Theory.
Beth A. Brodine, M.A., LRIC

Beth Brodine, M.A., LRIC, is a Resident in Marriage and Family Therapy and a Resident in Professional Counseling who provides therapy for couples, families, and individuals of all ages. She works with clients from diverse cultural backgrounds and offers a compassionate, collaborative, and strengths-based approach to counseling.
Beth specializes in couples therapy, including Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy and the Gottman Method, helping partners improve communication, repair emotional bonds, and move out of negative conflict cycles. She also has experience supporting adoptive and foster families, cross-cultural relationships, and Third Culture Kids. Beth helps individuals and families develop healthier communication patterns, deepen emotional connection, and build more fulfilling relationships.
Her therapeutic approach integrates Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), the Gottman Method, attachment theory, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) for adults and children. Beth has completed training in Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy, holds Gottman Method Level 1 Certification, and has completed Beck Cognitive Behavioral Therapy training.
Beth has been practicing since 2022 and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Pastoral Studies from North Central University, a Master of Arts in Marriage, Couple, and Family Counseling, and a Graduate Certificate in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Regent University.
Outside of her clinical work, Beth enjoys cooking, songwriting, exploring new places, and taking walks along the beach.
Nancy (Zengmeizhi) Zhong
Counseling Intern
Nancy (aka. Zengmeizhi) is a bicultural counseling intern under supervision, pursuing MA Clinical Counseling through Columbia International University. She offers counseling in English and Mandarin to adult individuals and couples dealing with life transitions, relational issues, depression, anxiety, mood disorders, stress-related disorders, acculturation/immigration-related stress, conflict resolution, communication, family of origin issues, attachment issues, etc. She holds a BA in Biblical Studies and a Master of Divinity. She brings eight years of experience from ministry jobs, therapeutic residential programs, and math teaching with K1-K12. She is multiculturally sensitive and loves serving clients with diverse backgrounds.
Nancy desires to form a warm, empathetic, and supportive relationship with clients, using an integrated approach customized to clients’ unique needs & stories. She applies research-based and spiritually informed practices from trainings in trauma-informed CBT, DBT emotional regulation skills, ACT, MI, psychodynamic, person-centered, strength-based, Attachment theory, Emotional-focused therapy, Gottman Method, Hope-Focused Couple Therapy. She supports clients’ spiritual beliefs/values to pursue the best therapeutic outcome.

Allison Picini
Counseling Intern
Allison is a clinical counseling intern under supervision, completing a Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology with a concentration in Narrative-Focused Trauma Care through The Seattle School of Theology & Psychology. Drawing from her professional background in community ministry, operations leadership, and the arts, Allison brings a collaborative and creative perspective to therapeutic work. She is passionate about working with women who have experienced complex trauma, those experiencing or transitioning from homelessness, and survivors of abuse, providing this specialized care in both individual and group therapy settings. Allison’s therapeutic approach honors the complexity of human experience by integrating depth-oriented, person-centered, wellness-based, and polyvagal-informed therapies.

Danielle “Dannie” Pittman, MA, BCBA, LBA, CCTS-I
Counseling Intern
Dannie is a counseling intern under the supervision of Emileigh Allen, LPC. She is presently pursuing her MA in Mental Health Counseling through The Chicago School and holds a Master’s degree in Behavior Analysis and Bachelor’s degrees in Sociology and Applied Psychology. She offers counseling to children, adolescents and adults, bringing 13 years of experience in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis and 15 years of experience working with Neurodivergence. Dannie uses a person-centered approach, and incorporates CBT, DBT and ACT into her counseling practices.

Victoria Bergstrom
Counseling Intern
Victoria Bergstrom, is a counseling intern who enjoys working with individuals ages 12 and up. Her therapeutic style is personable, authentic, collaborative, and direct. She strives to help clients overcome obstacles, walk into healing, and grow in their identity. Clients working with Victoria can expect to feel seen, heard, safe, and encouraged to learn, grow, and overcome.
Victoria primarily works with adults, children, and individuals looking to work through trauma and dissociation. Her clinical approach includes strengths-based therapy (SBT), cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioural therapy (DBT), and internal family systems (IFS), and her areas of specialty include trauma, dissociation, depression, anxiety, and spiritual issues.
Victoria has completed training in trauma, IFS, and CBT, and DBT. She holds a certification in Invicta Inner Healing and Deliverance – Level 1 and is an ordained minister. She has been practicing clinical counseling since 2025 and has 4 years of experience of pastoral counseling and spiritual guidance. She holds a Bachelor’s degree from Virginia Tech in Business Information Technology – Decision Support Systems and is currently working towards her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Regent University. She is in her final semester and expects to graduate in May 2026.
Outside of work, Victoria enjoys sharing the love of Jesus, being outside, hiking, making latte art, playing board games, and spending time with friends and family.

Kristine Loeppky, RN, Clinical Mental Health Graduate Student, is a counseling intern who enjoys working with children, adolescents, and adults. Her therapeutic style is warm, collaborative, and engaging, and she strives to help clients make meaning of their experiences, reflect honestly on patterns that may be keeping them stuck, and take intentional steps forward to support healing and lasting change. Clients working with Kristine can expect sessions that feel supportive, thoughtful, and purpose-driven, with space for reflection, appropriate challenge, and growth.

Beth Brodine, M.A., LRIC, is a Resident in Marriage and Family Therapy and a Resident in Professional Counseling who provides therapy for couples, families, and individuals of all ages. She works with clients from diverse cultural backgrounds and offers a compassionate, collaborative, and strengths-based approach to counseling.
Beth specializes in couples therapy, including Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy and the Gottman Method, helping partners improve communication, repair emotional bonds, and move out of negative conflict cycles. She also has experience supporting adoptive and foster families, cross-cultural relationships, and Third Culture Kids. Beth helps individuals and families develop healthier communication patterns, deepen emotional connection, and build more fulfilling relationships.
Her therapeutic approach integrates Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), the Gottman Method, attachment theory, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) for adults and children. Beth has completed training in Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy, holds Gottman Method Level 1 Certification, and has completed Beck Cognitive Behavioral Therapy training.
Beth has been practicing since 2022 and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Pastoral Studies from North Central University, a Master of Arts in Marriage, Couple, and Family Counseling, and a Graduate Certificate in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Regent University.
Outside of her clinical work, Beth enjoys cooking, songwriting, exploring new places, and taking walks along the beach.
